Zebra Class

In Zebra Class we have ten pupils eight boys & two girls who are in Years 3-6. We are a happy, bubbly and busy class who love to learn in a very practical and hands on way.

We work each day on our personalised Key Skills tasks which support much of our learning throughout the week.  We enjoy a range of short, sharp focussed learning activities working independently in work bays, one to one with staff and in paired table top activities.

We are continuing to develop our independence, communication and our focus and turn taking skills.  We really enjoy our bucket (Attention Autism) sessions; the messier the better!

We love having the opportunity to go out in the school minibus for our swimming lessons at Romsey Rapids.  Everyone is trying very hard to be independent with dressing and undressing and is having a go themselves before asking for help from the school staff.  In the water we are working hard on our swimming skills, including floating, pushing off from the side, kicking our feet and some are even going under the water!
