Family Learning

We really value the contribution that families can make to their child’s educational development and like to encourage parents and carers to be as involved as possible in their child’s education. We are able to offer a range of opportunities for parents to learn more about what happens at school through coffee mornings, parents’ evenings, annual review and special events.

We can offer a variety of workshops which are arranged in response to parental requests and needs.

These can include:

Supporting behaviour at home
Makaton
Using PECS at home
Using visual timetables and schedules
Reading and pre-reading skills
Autism
Fussy eaters
Toilet training
Safety online

We are happy to respond to individual requests for training and support whenever we can.
